Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, an Mexican-American sportscaster. She works at ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and, occasionally, host SportsNation. Her first job at ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been a bi-lingual since the age of nine years old a useful ability that allowed her to secure her first position as a production assistant at Univision in Miami where she had the opportunity to interact with producers of national programming like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. They moved at some point to Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born on November of 1985. She also has a sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico in search of the US and settled in Miami. They divorced soon afterwards and in 1995, she got married to a naval designer named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. The summer of 2006, she spent one week with her sibling at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. Still a senior in high school and yet with a clear idea the direction she was going to take with her life Antonietta attended The University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her preferences. She was in love with the campus. They also offered her the major that she desired. Her studies were completed and she was admitted to the university to pursue a degree in Media studies. They developed a lasting relationship with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the managing director at WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a member. The professor who taught her Mark Bergmann inspired her by his passion about journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
